| There's an old saying that goes something like this; We can do it fast, we can do it cheap and we can do top quality but, you can only choose two of the three. Virtual reality has yet to eliminate the constaints of time. For example, elaborate digital paintings take a day or more and custom 3-D illustrations take several days not hours. Likewise, painted photo composite frames demand more time than freehand based illustrations, as they require photo searches, often searching for 3-D models, cutting, pasting and integration with computer painting. In short, freehand drawing by stylus or pencil remains the most efficient way to develop ideas and a cost effective way to sell commercials. That's our main business at Aboveboards. We draw storyboards and we do it at a level that we shouldn't have to boast.
